QEO Insurance Group is a commercial transportation Managing General Agency (MGA) focusing on local to intermediate radius transportation risks. As a turnkey operation, QEO provides underwriting, loss control and claims management services distributed through independent agents. The agency focuses on three broad categories within commercial transportation: energy, local delivery, and construction.

What makes QEO Insurance Group one of the most successful commercial transportation underwriters is their significant experience. QEO’s dedicated team of underwriters, loss control inspectors, and claims representatives understand commercial transportation risks from beginning to end. Each risk is evaluated and underwritten by seasoned commercial transportation underwriters, with QEO’s own loss control inspectors performing on-site inspections of each risk that QEO insures. In the event of an accident, QEO’s claims representatives handle and manage each loss promptly and efficiently, to quickly resolve both first and third-party claims.

QEO integrates traditional processes with technological advances and strives to be a best-in-class commercial transportation MGA. Today, the company employs over 60 staff in two regional offices in Dallas, TX, and Miramar, FL, and was recently certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®. QEO Insurance Group earned this certification based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys.

QEO Insurance Group prides itself on understanding the individual needs of each client and providing outstanding service to ensure customers receive the right insurance for their business needs, at the right price.

Meet the CEO

David Disiere is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of QEO Insurance Group. Prior to launching QEO, David was the powerhouse behind Deep South Insurance, turning the small family-owned business into one of the most successful insurance MGA’s in the nation.

In 2008, QBE U.S. Agencies, a longtime partner of Deep South and a subsidiary of QBE Insurance Group – one of the 25 largest insurance and reinsurance companies worldwide – purchased Deep South from Disiere for $190 million.

After continuing to serve as the company’s CEO to ensure a successful transition, David went on to establish QEO Insurance Group. QEO is founded on the same principles of stability and innovative leadership that made Deep South one of the largest and successful MGA’s in the country.

In an industry that is currently under a lot of pressure, QEO is thriving, which David attributes to their ability not only to handle losses better, but to get the numbers right. Their internal motto is “you can’t be stupid for free”, and the key to their success is going further than most insurers to collect historical, company and vehicle information to ensure more accurate forecasting. QEO also underwrites a lot of business that other companies don’t, creating a lucrative niche in the commercial transportation segment.

Similar to his leadership style at Deep South Insurance, David remains highly involved in every part of QEO’s business, particularly in the management of losses and authorizations.  Philanthropy also continues to play a pivotal role at QEO Insurance Group, with involvement in community and charitable activities across Texas and the nation, particularly those that benefit children, through the David & Teresa Disiere Foundation.
